stablished in January 1969, Control Specialists Inc. (CSI) was founded to
provide effective and efficient engineering, sales, and service to industry.
This promise has continued to be the driving force behind the firm. From the
beginning, the founder, Earl Morgan, sought to represent only the finest of
manufacturers of instrument and control equipment. A broad base of diverse
process measurement, automation, and control devices has been the focus over the
years of CSI.
The firm
continues to offer solutions to instrumentation and control applications and
needs as defined by customers in the power, pulp and paper, chemicals, foods,
and general manufacturing industry segments. These services and products are
offered by our staff in both the Birmingham and Mobile offices. The owners and
associates seek to provide timely assistance as well as the best in hardware to
meet the expectations of our customers. Scott Wilbanks, President, and Gerald
Wilbanks, Vice President, have over 55 years of combined experience in
instrumentation and control engineering and equipment sales. This expertise is
combined with the experience and background of Joey Nerstad,
Outside Sales Representative in Birmingham, to deliver the proper products to provide a
functional measurement and control application. Annette Morgan, Office Manager,
Birmingham, and John Bryant, Outside Sales Representative in south Alabama, work with
customers to provide timely solutions and delivery of products.
The product lines represented include level, flow, pressure, temperature, and
analytical measurement devices. Also, hardware is available for special
applications and specific system needs. Control valves, accessories, digital
indicators, and final control devices are included in the wide variety of
instrument and control equipment. Design services, training and education,
start-up assistance, auditing services, and technical consulting round out the
total offerings of CSI.
Our commitment to our customers continues to be to provide an end product that
is on schedule, within the budget, and operationally sound. CSI prides itself in
doing what is needed to meet customer requirements with an unaccustomed level of
